More Than a Festival

Big Lawn Music Festival is committed to helping artists grow even when they're not on our stage. We record every artist's set, allowing musicians to walk away from the festival with a free, 2-track, live mix, of their performance. Artists rely on performance recordings to secure gigs at other venues, promote their shows, and build their Electronic Press Kit. We're happy to provide these artists with a way to further their career,  especially because other venues aren't always willing or able to give their artists a recording of the show. 

We've even taken it a step further, offering multi-tracks for a small fee. Mutli tracking is when each individual instrument is mic'd and recorded separately, corresponding with it's own individual track that can then be edited independently from all the others. This allows for a much more detailed mix of the song, as artists can make changes to any one, or all tracks to alter the recording. After the festival, artists can have these tracks professionally mixed and mastered, either by Big Lawn Music or another engineer, and release them as singles, EPs, or even albums. The possibilities are endless. 

If you're a past performer from 2023 and want your set mix and mastered, you're in luck! All sets from the 2023 festival were multi-tracked and archived. It's never too late to ask for files! Just reach out to us and we can start the mixing process!
